I make work about cities that I love and that fascinate me. Having visited Sydney many times meant I was familiar with downtown and have many friends there.

In any city I tend to avoid the iconic buildings like the Opera House and instead I picture the buildings where you live and work in or pass everyday without paying too much notice to them. Artists can make you see things anew. I took only a couple of films when I shot Polaroid in Sydney in Feb 2017, but wish I had taken more.
