Sarah Kudirka

Earlier Work

I have long been fascinated by the shapes and edges of things, the stuff all around us like objects, furniture and buildings. I often focus on belonging(s): items we use every day, pass on or inherit hold meaning for us and forge links to culture and home. I generally work in series and in a semi-abstract way, often using stripes and hand lettering/words. Sometimes my work references landscape or abstracted interior elements including fabric patterns.
