a bowl a boat

In these new works that use combined and related bowl:boat motifs there are overlaps, self-evident things and layers of meaning. The motifs emerged as Kudirka thought about empathy and hostility to stories of journeying. Shallow bowl drawings resemble simple boats. Bowls are basic, essential tools to enable people to gather, prepare, eat and share food and water.
