The art I make has long been focused on the shapes and edges of stuff that is all around us including: buildings, furniture and objects.
This series of paintings was based on things spotted in the background of TV news reports and documentaries, so the objects were often drawn fast and bore a kind of witness to often extreme events. In time I started to explore joining things together, just as humans we need to establish connections.
